GPAT

Genomic Position Annotation Tool (GPAT)

The purpose of the Genomic Position Annotation Tool (GPAT) is to provide an easy to use and convenient tool for rapidly annotating reasonably large sets of genomic positions. GPAT automatically extracts gene annotation information around submitted genomic positions from different public databases (Refseq or ENSEMBL) and also provides access to the expression status of the corresponding genes in several cell lines. Furthermore, GPAT allows the localisation of these positions relative to the chromosome bands and the well characterised ENCODE regions.
